Swathi Organics and Specialties Pvt. Ltd. (SOSPL) is based out of the industry-friendly state of Pondicherry. Set up in 1994, it has emerged as a valuable supplier of industrial chemicals for some of the biggest regional names in the textile, leather, paper and detergent industry.

SOSPL's position of leadership comes from the significant investment's it has made in infrastructure. The facility has 4 production plants spread across an area of about 2.5 acres; the annual production capability has crossed the 2,000 ton landmark. The state-of-the-art infrastructure at the plants can handle production of both liquid and solid chemicals.

Technology plays a pivotal role at SOSPL. An early technical and financial collaboration with the Swiss multinational CIBA (now Huntsman TE) helped get the head-start in technical prowess. Since then this edge has been continuously nurtured through sustained investments in the latest equipment. All facets of production are computerized and efficiently coordinated. Complex processes like blending, mixing, formulation, condensation and addition have been made hassle-free, thanks to the sophisticated equipment.
